HARTFORD, C.T. – Federal prosecutors won't ask for the death penalty for a Connecticut man who shot a man and dumped his body in Genesee County. Last year, a jury convicted Noah Gladding of kidnapping Jason Argersinger in 2005. Prosecutors say Gladding killed Argersinger over a drug debt.

A Maine man is in jail after he allegedly made a series of bomb threats along the New York State Thruway. Police say Derek Schultz made the initial threat after leaving the travel plaza in Guilderland, Albany County.
