It seems as if we got our city back last week as many of the roads, ramps and bridges that had been closed or otherwise compromised for several months were returned to service. The biggest one of the bunch was the Frederick Douglass (South Capitol Street) Bridge, which had been out of commission for most of the summer in a much-needed overhaul.
